Monique Raphel High, aka "The Book Shrink," will help you turn your idea into a published book!

| Once you’ve been given the go-ahead to submit pages, we’ll read you with great attention; if we decide not to sign you, our rejection letter will explain why, and offer helpful suggestions. If we decide we’re interested in you and your work, we’ll give you a review, and we’ll probably ask you to make some changes which we think will help us sell your book. This review costs you nothing.
Unfortunately, Monique is no longer able to offer coaching to anyone but our own clients at this time. Once you are accepted into the agency, she will always critique your work with the greatest attention, scribbling all over your margins with her famous red marker. Her critiques offer the Three Ss: Substance, Style and Syntax. But she has no time for a copy edit. She is an agent, not an editor! And, while she is multi-lingual, she cannot be translator to our foreign clients. (She does, however, love reading in foreign languages!) We work in cooperation with a Public Relations firm. The PR team, Joel Coler and Linda Coler, are extremely experienced. When you’re ready, they can help you build your platform and enhance your public profile. The PR team is not part of our corporation. The client pays them directly. As with “Frank in Indiana,” WriteHigh does not receive remuneration or “kickbacks” from the PR firm. Monique and her staff members offer the PR firm to their clients as an alternative and a benefit, but there is no pressure on anyone to use their services. (The PUBLICITY tab, only offered to clients of the firm under the CLIENT ACCESS tab, offers other publicity options as well or in conjunction to the WriteHigh PR Team.) If your manuscript needs copy editing, Monique will strongly advise you to get it copy edited before it may be presented. Clients need to understand that WriteHigh has based its reputation on presenting impeccable manuscripts to editors; an unclean or ungrammatical manuscript or proposal will absolutely get you rejected! WriteHigh will not present editors with a manuscript containing spelling or grammatical errors.
No one can guarantee that your book will be published or, if published, that it will make money. What WriteHigh guarantees is that your manuscript will be thoughtfully reviewed and professionally presented, and that you will have access to experienced advisors at every step of the process. WriteHigh helps you put your best foot forward before putting it in the publisher’s door! |
